I used to think of death as the loss of one, didn't deal well with it then and it's only getting worse.
Beside the pain of loss two facts compound here to really bother me
- Knowledge and life experience are not perfectly transferrable
- We lost not only you, but every future version of you and every future version of people you would have impacted, changed or saved.
For every death a hundred billion cuts.
