chainsaw man, especially in the later chapters seems to me more about a groomed teenager that becomes obsessed with sex. It’s an interesting angle and narrative and you genuinely feel bad for Denji.

Part of what makes this good is that it’s a narrative in part about control and the thousand ways it gets exercised.
